Weekend update

I've turned in my Elm Fork project. Hopefully it makes it into the show this spring. I'm picking up my art from the school Wednesday and heading to Mexico with my dad and brother Jordan. I'm excited to head down and be with my family. I'm bringing along a couple of sketch books, I hope to get more art thrown up here. I'm thinking about sending postcards out too, if anyone would like one, just email me your address.

Until next time!

Final project progress

Three of six panels done. I've still got some layers of india ink to finish on these panels, but they'll be ready by Thursday. I added the design on the helmet to cover up charcoal footprint that happened during class.
The next three panels will be a lot of pen work on the owl.

I'm going to use a micron 03 or 01 for the small details on the owls' face. I'm really excited about this project and I hope that it continues to work out in my favor.
This work may be featured in the Elm Fork Art Exhibit in the fall, and I hope it does. Here's a picture of the face. Enjoy, suckahs!
