I feel really awkward on video, but I know in the future I'll be more comfortable with doing this thing. I think it's important to have a record of yourself so you can have a measuring stick of how much you've grown. It is scary because it can be embarrassing in the now and further down the line. Embarrassment hasn't stopped me completely from what I want to do, so I guess I'll keep moving and grooving until I can't groove any more. Hopefully I'll finish another page in my comic dairy tomorrow and soon I'll upload some philosophy homework assignments done in the comic book style. Very chic I know.
Until next time,
Josh

Someone contaminated me
I'm not quite sure who it was, but I've come down with the sickness. My head feels like it weighs 15 lbs and I'm hacking up lovely small mucous pellets. Hopefully my immune system will kick in after I get rest this weekend.
Universal health care sounds reaaaaaally good right now and so does powerful drugs and sleep. Unfortunately, I have a mid-semester portfolio due and no health insurance. No H.I., no doctor. No doctor, no doctor's note. No doctor's note, no excuse. Like they used to say in my old occupation: Suck it up Marine! It seemed to work well, but it doesn't work in every case. Just because you ignore what ails ya, doesn't mean it isn't there.

Working on a comic
I've decided that I need to get serious about this art business. I drew a page tonight and tomorrow I'm going to upload at the school. I feel really good about all of this business. Hard work is what it's going to take to reach my dreams and I'm ready to focus all my chi into this.

New Artwork and zine
It's been a pretty isolated day. My partner in crime Ryan has been hard at work at school so I've been shouldering the responsibilities of layout for the art and music zine we make Calm Magazine. I've been at it since noon sending the finished pages to my friend Hunter Wild for him to proofread. I'm worried about next month, because I still have no job, and this passion of mine won't even cover my nicotine habit. Oh well, I know that if I stick with it long enough I'll be successful. I may take a beating along the way, but I'll do whatever it takes to achieve my dream of paying the rent through my art.
